Why AI Chatbots Like ChatGPT Can Leave Your Brain Bankrupt?!

Even though AI chatbots have been around for a long time, never before were they able to spell as much magic as they have today. While Eliza, the first-ever AI chatbot, managed to fascinate people, Microsoft-funded OpenAI’s ChatGPT has made everyone go broke – baking pies out of never-seen-before bananas.

Whereas some have turned ChatGPT into a full-on news writer ever-ready to unleash breaking news on demand, others have made an elephantic claim that the chatbot can type through a thousand-word genuine article in the blink of an eye. Not to mention, a few gentlemen have opined that the chatbot can omen, fix fluctuating fortune, and even enrich a struggling love life.

Why AI Chatbots Like ChatGPT Can Leave Your Brain Bankrupt copy

Closely watching the magic of ChatGPT and swayed by its unprecedented record of amassing over 100 million users in just 3 months, I couldn’t help giving my aging brain the well-timed rest. So, I thought it was the right time to oil my age-old brain and let it rest in peace for some time. After all, years of real-time torture, trauma, never-ending turbulence, and the need to toil for hours to earn bread were taking a heavy toll on the brain.

Having jumped onto the bandwagon of ChatGPT, I was suddenly having a smooth-sailing run as the chatbot began to get through my work within minutes. From writing my video scripts to typing out the detailed troubleshooting guides to teaching my 6-year-old son (standard 1), the AI chatbot was showing versatility in all its glory.

For a moment, the very life seemed to be the bed of roses since the newfound cosmetic intelligence was doing it all without ever asking for a penny… They say, “You don’t really become wiser in life until you are penny-wise.”

Seeing how effectively ChatGPT had taken over my work, I was relishing every bit of my layoff. My happiness knew no bounds when The Verge reported that CNET is laying off 10% of its staff as the media website is reportedly going to leverage the intelligence of AI chatbots.

“Just weeks after news broke that tech site CNET was quietly using artificial intelligence to produce articles, the company is doing extensive layoffs that include several longtime employees, according to multiple people with knowledge of the situation. The layoffs total around a dozen people, a CNET staffer says, or about 10 percent of the public masthead,” The Verge said.

Shutting both eyes and putting the brain on the back burner, I kept using ChatGPT along with dozens of other AI chatbots that are breaking the internet. Suddenly, a stiff warning from my son’s school teacher woke me up from my long slumber. Several duplicate and inaccurate answers were their chief concerns. Sensing the misuse of AI chatbots, the school had already laid out the watchdog to spot the fallacies.

But little did I know that the heavy reliance on chatbots could trigger a panacea out of nowhere. My video scripts had striking similarities with those of many of my rivals, while my famed write-up was looking insolvent as plagiarism had robbed it off. Quite a few gadgets that I had recommended using AI turned out to be below par.

What about the resting brain? For god’s grace, it was lying on the brink of bankruptcy due largely to the abundance of blessings from AI chatbots. Had they showered the grace a little longer, the real brain could have lost touch with reality that comes only from the beating heart.

With cosmetic thinking and artificial intelligence, AI chatbot can do nothing but be a handy assistant to the real brain. The moment it tries to beat human intelligence, plagiarism, misleading suggestions, and concocted feedback would take center stage, which would leave the whole world jeopardized.

As for me, I could save myself from the lifelong panacea. I wish I could say the same about…
