Cropping the wallpaper is pretty simple, thanks to a neat gesture.

Step 1. First off, you will need to unlock your ‌‌‌iPhone‌‌‌ with Face ID or Touch ID. 

Step 2. Now, press and hold on to the Lock Screen to bring up the wallpaper gallery. 

Step 3. Next, you can swipe left/right if necessary to access the Lock Screen wallpaper that you wish to crop and tap on Customize.

Step 4. Use a pinch gesture on the wallpaper to crop the image.

Step 5. Now, tap on Done in the top-right corner when you have perfectly customized the Lock Screen.

Step 6. Next up, you will need to tap on Set as Wallpaper Pair to also add the image to your Home Screen.
