While it’s fine to control the Stage Manager from the Control Center, would you prefer to show Stage Manager in Mac’s menu bar? As someone who is very fond of this app windows organizer and switcher, I like to keep the Stage Manager icon tucked in the menu bar for more convenient access. Use Drag and Drop Gesture to Show Stage Manager in the Menu Bar on Mac

Well, the easiest way to put the Stage Manager icon in Mac’s menu bar is to use the drag and drop gesture. Yeah, you read that right! 

  • To do so, click on the Control Center icon located at the top right corner of the screen. 
  • Now, drag the Stage Manager icon and drop it at the desired spot in the menu bar and you are good to go!

Show Stage Manager Icon in Menu Bar Using System Settings on Mac

Another way to display the Stage Manager icon in the macOS’ menu bar is to use the System Settings.

  • To get it done, launch the System Settings app on your Mac. Alternatively, you can click on the Apple menu icon at the top left corner of the screen and choose System Settings.
  • Now, click on the Control Center in the sidebar.
  • Finally, select the Show in Menu Bar option from the Stage Manager menu on the right and you are pretty much done!
