Garden Horizons is a fun game to play; throughout the game, you will be planting seeds, harvesting crops, and building your gardening empire. But that’s not the main motive of the game. You need to earn profits and participate in quests to grow and reach new levels in the game. But that can’t be done manually.
As you progress in the game, you will have to invest your profits in the gears. These gears can automate the farming process and help you double your profits. But as a beginner, it can be confusing to locate the gear shop and which gear to buy first. Worry not, we are here to help you with that. This article will guide you on how you can get gears in Garden Horizons. Also, we will be mentioning some tips for beginner players purchasing their first gear. So, let’s dive right in.
Steps to Get Gears in Garden Horizons
You can get the gears from Molly’s Gear Shop, located in the Central Hub. Here’s how:
- First of all, you need to head over to Central Hub within the game. You can manually explore the game world, or simply click on the Seed button at the top to teleport to Central Hub.
- You will be teleported in front of Bill’s Seed Shop. You now need to locate the gear shop.
- Move to the left and look for a shop with a green and white roof shade. You will find it on the left of Botanist; it is Molly’s Gear Shop.
- Walk in front of the shop, and you will be able to interact with Molly. Press the E button on your keyboard to talk to Molly.
- Once you do this, it will open the list of all the items in the shop.
- When the list opens up, you will see all the gears you can buy. Most of the items will be out of stock here.
- Most probably, you will see a watering can available for purchase, as that’s a common item in this list.
- Select the gear you want to buy. Click on Info to know more about the gear.
- To purchase the gear, click on Buy, and you will be able to buy it.
Molly’s shop resets every 5 minutes. You will see the time at the top of the gear list. Every 5 minutes, you will see a set of new items that will be available for purchase.
Note- All the items won’t be restocked together in the shop. You will still see some items out of stock. In this case, patiently wait for the next restock.
What Should You Purchase As A Beginner?
If you are a beginner, then I get it that you won’t have enough to buy all the gear in the gear list. Obviously, not all the gears are priced the same, and some are very expensive, going up to $250K Shillings. If you are new to the game, then you need to plan what you will be buying that will help you grow your kingdom. Here are some tips that you must keep in mind:
- As a beginner, your first purchase in the gear shop will always be a watering can. You must save 5K Shillings to buy it. It is an essential purchase that can help with the growth of your plant.
- As you progress through the game, you can plan on buying other expensive gear once your profits start growing. Though at first, I won’t recommend you to go for the ultra expensive one, but once you see enough profit, then you can invest in a Basic Sprinkler (costing 15K Shillings). A basic sprinkler will boost the plant growth for 5 minutes.
Upgrading To High Tier Equipments
As a beginner, there’s absolutely no need to get the high-tier equipment like a Super Sprinkler and Trowel. So when’s the right time to buy them? You can buy this equipment once you are a mid-level player and your daily profits increase to cover the expenses of these gears.
As a beginner, your focus is on growing your empire and earning more profits, and for that, you need to do manual labour or invest in basic tools like a watering can and a Basic Sprinkler. Once you have high profits and you want to focus on completing weekly quests rapidly, then that’s the right time to upgrade to legendary (high-tier equipment).

- Watering Can (Common) – 5000 Shillings
- Basic Sprinkler (Uncommon) – 15K Shillings
- Harvest Bell (Rare) – 35K Shillings

- Favourite Tool (Epic) – 80K Shillings
- Super Sprinkler (Legendary) – 100K Shillings
- Trowel (Legendary) – 250K Shillings
