While there is a lot to like about the latest updates that Apple has showcased at WWDC 2024, the one feature that has charmed one and all is the “Apple Intelligence”. Deeply integrated into iOS 18, Apple Intelligence is designed to let you perform a number of tasks faster and more efficiently. Notably, there are systemwide AI-powered writing tools that allow users to rewrite, proofread, and even summarise text in supported apps.
Sadly, Apple Intelligence is compatible with only selected iDevices. That’s the reason why many are left wondering whether or not their device will be able to get this AI feature. If this thought has crossed your mind as well, now is the right time to clear it away.

- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
Apple Intelligence Supported iPad Models
- All iPads with Apple M1 and later chip support Apple Intelligence.
Apple Intelligence Supported Mac Models
- Only the Macs equipped with the Apple M1 and later chip can use the Apple Intelligence.
My Thoughts…
Considering the fact that AI is in huge demand, it would have been better if Apple could allow at least iPhone 14 or later models to take advantage of Article Intelligence. By keeping this feature limited to just iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro models, Apple seems to have missed a trick or two.
While I won’t rule out the possibility of hardware restrictions, I don’t think that an exceptionally capable iPhone 14 Pro lacks the power to get the most out of Apple Intelligence. What do you think?
