  • Simply, right-click on the empty area in the taskbar -> select “Taskbar settings”.

  • To get started, press the WIN+R to launch Run and type in “regedit” (make sure not to add quotes).

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
  • Next, search for “TaskbarDa” and double-click on it. 
  • Finally, change the value data field to “0” and hit “OK”.
  • To force the change to come into effect, make sure to restart your computer.
