Bear in mind that the Live Audio Transcription feature is currently available in select countries and regions. That means, if it hasn’t been rolled out in your region, you will need to change the country/region on your device. Bother not, iOS offers a pretty simple and safe way to do so.
- To get it done, go to the Settings app -> General -> Language and Region -> Region -> United States.

- Now, bring up the software keyboard by tapping anywhere on the screen.
- Next, choose the “Media Attachment” icon to proceed.
- Then, select the “Record Audio” option in the menu.
- Next, tap on the Live Audio Transcription/Quotation mark icon at the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Now, it’s time to start transcribing your recording into text in real-time.
- While recording the audio, when you want to pause, hit the record button. To start the recording again, tap the Resume button.
