What’s more, he has some of the most powerful abilities in the game, like Dismantle and Cleave, Flame Arrow, and Malevolent Shrine. That’s why having him in your lineup ensures you are winning every other game. However, a mythical character like Sukuna is blocked behind a brutal summon rate. As a result, it’s not easy to get Sukuna. Yeah, you got that right, mate! You will have to grind a lot to unlock this character.

How to Get Sukuna?
To get Sukuna, you need to play Calamity mode in the game. The character will drop randomly after you win the Calamity mode. But the chances of getting Sukuna are rare, and go all the way down to 0.25%.
The drop chances of getting Sukuna depend on the difficulty level at which you are playing the mode.
- Normal– 0.25%
- Hard – 0.5%
- Nightmare – 1%
If you play at a normal level, then there’s only 0.25% chance of getting Sukuna. Re:Rangers X has an in-built pity system. This means there’s a guarantee that you will get Sukuna after 150 times playing Calamity mode.
I have a personal suggestion that would make it easier to get Sukuna. I recommend you play the game in normal mode as it’s the easiest one to clear (it hardly takes a minute).
Requirements to Evolve Sukuna
To evolve Sukuna, you need 4 items, mainly, which include:
- 200 Takedowns
- 16x King’s Finger
- 1x King’s Shrine
- 7x Demon Fang Shard
How to Evolve Sukuna?
You need the above 4 items to evolve Sukuna. Here’s how you can farm these four items in the game:
200 Takedowns
200 Takedowns means you need to defeat 200 enemies with Sukuna. Simply equip Sukuna in your lineup and spawn on a map with low difficulty (easy to conquer). Weak enemies are easy to kill; it will hardly take 5 minutes to get 200 kills.
16 King’s Fingers
You need 16 King’s Fingers,s and the only way to get them is through Calamity Mode. They drop only when Mahoraga Boss and Sukuna Boss spawn together (which is very rare).
1 King Shrine
You can buy King’s Shrine from the Raid Shop for 400 Cursed Scrolls.
7 Demon Fang Shards
You can get Demon Fang Shards from Tokyo City – Act 3. It has a 25% rate per completion, which means you will get 1 Demon Fang Shards after every run. So to get 7 of them, you need to complete 28 runs.
Sukuna Abilities and Combat Showcase (Best for Maximum Efficiency)
Here are some of the most effective and signature abilities of Sukuna:
- Dismantle and Cleave- Dismantle is a flying and invisible slashing attack. Cleave is a close-ranged slash attack.
- Fire Arrow- Shoots an arrow with super-heated cursed energy.
- Malevolent Shrine- This is his ultimate move, which means Domain Expansion. Sukuna’s domain has no outer shell, and once the enemies are trapped in it, he unleashes Dismantle and Cleave on the enemies.
For the best combat strategies, place the character at a U-turn or sharp corner. He has a massive Area of Effect range, and placing him on a sharp corner ensures multiple enemies are hit at the same time.
