So, it’s good to see that the newly-launched Passwords has added this functionality. As for generating a QR code for a Wi-Fi password in Apple’s password manager, the process feels pretty simple. Better still, you can get it done even when your iPhone is offline.
- To get going, open the Passwords app on your iPhone running iOS 18 or later.
- After that, you will need to authenticate using your Face ID or Touch ID.
- Then, select the “Wi-Fi” tab.
- Now, choose the Wi-Fi network for which you want to generate a QR code.
- Next, tap on the “Show Network QR code” option and Voila! It will instantly generate the QR code for your Wi-Fi network.
- Finally, you can snap the screenshot to share the QR code with others. Alternatively, you can also ask your friend to scan the QR code.
