How to Disallow Apple Intelligence Image Creation on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

One of the most notable skills of “Apple Intelligence” is the ability to create fascinating images in the blink of an eye. Whether you would like to generate a unique photo, create a fun-loving emoji, or turn a sketch into a striking image, the AI-powered Image Playground, Image Wand, and Genmoji have got you covered (respectively – of course). However, if you are not a fan of AI-driven image creation, you can choose to altogether block the Apple Intelligence Image Creation on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Keep reading…

Block Apple Intelligence Image Creation (Via Image Playground, Genmoji, and Image Wand) on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Slightly buried in the Screen Time setting exists an option to turn off the AI-driven Image Creation on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Hence, you have the desired freedom to take control of this new add-on based on your needs.

While this restriction could be handy for anyone, for folks who want to prevent their kids from misusing Apple Intelligence, it could prove to be nothing less than a weapon. Especially those who abhor AI and can’t overlook the fact that it bankrupts creativity or is based on the principle of theft.

To me, there is nothing more vicious than AI. Stealing other’s genuine work without giving due credit and dishing out factually incorrect information are the prime reasons why it has irked me the most.

Wrapping up…

Though Apple Intelligence is still a newbie, it has shown enough promise to be a capable generative AI. As for the comparison between ChatGPT and Apple Intelligence, it seems to be rather unfair to me. Both in terms of experience and expertise, OpenAI’s offering is far more capable than Apple’s generative AI. What do you think?
