Instagram Reels never fail to amaze you. That’s the reason why they never seem to lose their charm. Creating stunning reels and sharing them with friends and followers is great. But what if you no longer want to show some old reels on your Instagram profile? No worries as there is a neat way to delete multiple Instagram reels at once on iOS and Android. Follow along to learn how it’s done:
Delete Several Instagram Reels At Once on iPhone and Android
Thanks to a built-in Instagram reel manager, tracking and deleting the unwanted ones is never a big deal. Since the reel manager is a bit under the wraps, I don’t think many folks are aware of how it works. However, bother not as this is where I have a role to play.
- First and foremost, open Instagram on your device.
- Now, tap on your profile at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Next, tap on the menu icon at the top right corner of the screen.
- Next up, choose the “Your Activity” option in the menu.
- After that, tap on “Reels”.
- On this screen, you will see all of your Instagram Reels. Up next, tap on the Select button at the upper right corner of the screen.
- Then, select all the unwanted reels that you would like to eliminate.
- Finally, tap on the Delete button at the bottom and you are good to go!
So, that’s how you can get rid of the unnecessary Instagram reels. Needless to say, you can go through the same steps to wipe out other useless clips.
It’s worth pointing out that when you delete a reel, Instagram saves the video in a separate folder and keeps it for up to 30 days. Therefore, you can restore the video later, if you ever want to. After 30 days of deletion, the videos are deleted permanently.
Final thoughts…
Despite the cut-throat competition from the likes of YouTube Shorts and TikTok, Instagram Reels has been topping the chart by a long distance. To me, what gives it an edge over rivals is the seamless integration with Facebook which plays a vital role in making a video rule the internet within no time.
Moreover, the much-improved monetization policy has also proved to be a decisive factor in making Reels a clear market leader and a go-to platform for folks who love to create and watch lip-syncing clips.
Though I was a huge fan of this short video-sharing platform initially, I have kind of begun to like it. While I won’t call it an addiction, scrolling through some fun-filled clips during leisure time has become one of my sweet indulgences. What about you?
