Control+F Search in Safari on iPhone and iPad
Safari comes with a hidden tool called “Find on Page” that allows you to quickly search for text on a web page. Moreover, it also features forward and backward arrows to let you easily find all the searched words on the page.
Step 1: To get going, open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 2: Now, navigate to the web page where you want to search for text.
Step 3: Next, tap on the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Next up, choose Find on This Page in the share sheet.
Step 5: Up next, enter the text that you want to search in the search field located above the keyboard. Your searched word will be instantly highlighted on the screen. Besides, you will also see how many times that specific word appears on the screen. Now, you can use the forward/backward arrow to look for the searched word on the web page.
Step 6: In the end, tap Done to finish.
Signing off…
There you go! It’s worth pointing out that if you have an external keyboard or keyboard case connected to your iPad, like the Smart Keyboard or Magic Keyboard, you can use the Command+F keyboard shortcut in Safari.
When you are on a web page, hit the Command+F on the keyboard to access the Find on Page option. After that, type the text you wish to search on the page and then hit return to find the matching word on the web page. Note that Command+ (the equivalent for Control+F) also works in Safari for Mac and Chrome for Mac.
